House Calls & Home Visits
VIPCARE.Life offers physician-led home visits for established members who value privacy, convenience, and a more personal clinical experience. When a home visit is clinically appropriate and logistically feasible, Hemant Gupta, MD can evaluate you in the comfort of your home, without the waiting room or rushed office visit.
Home visits are especially useful for patients who prefer a quieter setting, have mobility limitations, need post-hospital follow-up, or want a more complete understanding of their health in their real living environment.
What this may include
- Post-hospital or post-surgery follow-up
- Medication review and reconciliation
- Blood pressure, diabetes, and chronic disease follow-up
- Evaluation of new or changing symptoms
- Caregiver and family care discussions
- Coordination with specialists, home health, pharmacies, labs, and imaging
- Telehealth follow-up after the visit when appropriate
- Personalized care planning in your home environment
Care where you are- with clear boundaries
Home visits are available within designated service areas in Massachusetts and Connecticut and are provided at the physician’s discretion. Some conditions require urgent care, emergency department evaluation, imaging, lab testing, specialist care, or hospital-level resources and may not be appropriate for a home visit.
VIPCARE.Life may decline, defer, reschedule, or redirect a home visit if the concern requires emergency care, if adequate privacy is unavailable, or if the environment is unsafe.

If you are experiencing chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe shortness of breath, major trauma, severe allergic reaction, suicidal thoughts, or any potentially life-threatening condition, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Membership does not replace health insurance and does not guarantee immediate response, home visit availability, diagnosis, treatment outcome, insurance coverage, or reimbursement.
